Through WhatsApp — the way most guests already prefer to communicate. Every StayGrid page has a prominent 'Chat on WhatsApp' button. When a guest taps it, they're taken directly to your WhatsApp with a pre-filled message. You confirm availability, agree on dates, and collect payment however you prefer. We're not involved in the transaction.

Yes — every StayGrid property page is built with proper SEO: schema markup, fast loading, mobile optimization, and descriptive metadata. It won't rank overnight, but within a few weeks of being live your page will appear in Google searches for your homestay name and location.

MakeMyTrip gives you visibility on their platform but takes 15-20% of every booking and owns the guest relationship. StayGrid gives you your own website where guests contact you directly — you keep 100% of every booking. Both can coexist: use MakeMyTrip for discovery, use StayGrid for your direct bookings.

Yes — for ₹99/month you can connect your own domain (like yourstayin.com) to your StayGrid page. Your free page at yourname.staygrid.app stays live regardless.

You can still use StayGrid. Many hosts use both — their existing site for branding and StayGrid for direct booking inquiries and directory visibility. Or you can replace your old site entirely. Either way, it's free.

Currently onboarding stays across India — Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Goa, Meghalaya, Sikkim and more. We also cover Nepal. If your state isn't listed, sign up anyway — we're expanding rapidly.

You can upload photos during onboarding or later from your dashboard. We recommend at least 10 photos — stays with 10+ photos receive significantly more inquiries.

Yes — your dashboard lets you update photos, description, pricing, availability status, and contact details anytime. Changes appear on your site within seconds.

Not yet — but your StayGrid dashboard works perfectly on mobile. And your property site is fully mobile-optimized, so guests on phones have a great experience.
